Declarative - subject + was/were + Ving

                      I was going to school.
                      They were going to temple.
Yes/no - was/were + subject + Ving
                Was I going to school ?
                Were they going to temple ?
W.h. word question -
    w.h. word + was/ were + subject + Ving
            Where was I going ?
            Why were they going to temple ?
Negative -
       subject + was/were + not + Ving
             I was not going to school.
             They were not going to temple.
