  Past perfect
Declarative - subject + had + V3
                      I had written a book.
                      He had drunk the juice.
Yes/no - had + subject + V3
                Had I written a book ?
                Had he drunk the juice ?
W.h. word question -
         w.h. word + had + subject + V3
            What had I written ?
            When had he drunk the juice ?
Negative - subject + had + not + V3
             I had not written a book.
             He had not drunk the juice.
