Past simple
Declarative - subject + V2
                      I went to school.
                      He went to temple yesterday.
Yes/no - Did + subject + V1
                Did I go to school ?
                Did he go to temple ?
W.h. word question -
           w.h. word + did + subject + V1
            Where did I go ?
            When did he go to temple ?
Negative - subject + didn't + V1
             I didn't go to school.
             He didn't go to temple.
